On Campus
In addition to the Director, the staff of the Housing Division includes a caretaker, the employees of the Maintenance Division, a cleaning staff and a security guard. The Housing Division is responsible for the allocation of housing, rental contracts, communications with tenants, maintenance of properties, lending rooms for extracurricular activities, cleaning and security.

The school website contains detailed information on rental housing and the services provided by the Housing Division, including checklists for inspection and return of housing, rules on allocation, house rules for student residences, pricelist for services and rental housing, checklists for furnishings, rules on security and warnings, etc. The staff of the Maintenance Division is responsible for receiving work orders through the school’s rental system, see here.
 

Rental contracts
 

Rental contracts are signed in the university office between 14:00 and 16:00, or by arrangement with the housing director.
Students are encouraged to transfer their legal residence to Bifröst, as this carries benefits for all students, and especially families who intend to apply for a place in school or kindergarten for their children. Insurance companies have also offered lower premiums for automobile insurance.
It is possible to register oneself at the legal address "Bifröst nemendabústaðir." This is is especially designed for students who move between single-person apartments during their studies.
